The Nikon AF-S DX 55-200mm F/4-5.6G IF-ED VR is a lightweight compact lens by telephoto zoom standards (one of the smallest DSLR lenses on the market offering this focal range). The AF-S 55-200mm VR is only 2cm longer than the standard AF-S 18-55mm VR kit lens, and the diameter of the two lenses is almost the same. The AF-S DX 55-200mm VR zoom lens weighs 335 grams compared to the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55mm VR zoom which is a bit lighter at 265 grams.Excellent Clarity The above images show the field of view provided with the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G VR standard kit zoom lens set to its respective maximum wide-angle and telephoto positions on a DX format SLR. Forget Blurry Images The Nikkor AF-S DX 55-200mm F/4-5.6G IF-ED VR zoom provides a telephoto field of view up to 300mm in 35mm equivalent terms (DX format provides 1.5x crop factor vs focal length of the lens). Compared to the standard 18-55mm kit zoom lens, the 55-200mm telephoto lens lets you zoom in considerably closer on the subject from further away. Forget about blurry photos and shaky videos; Vibration Reduction (VR) helps keep your photos sharp and your videos steady. On its own, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED VR II is a great multipurpose lens. As a companion to the 18-55mm kit lens that comes with many DX-format DSLRs, it offers continuous coverage across the entire focal length range from 18mm to 200mm. 
Zoom Further Most digital SLR cameras are sold in a kit form with a standard 18-55mm type of zoom lens. While suitable for more common type of photo situations, such as group shots of people or wide-angle landscapes, a standard kit lens is not as practical for capturing distant subjects. The solution is to invest in a secondary telephoto zoom lens that provides the additional focal range required to zoom in on the subject from further away, ideal for sports, wildlife or candid photography. 
Outstanding Clarity At maximum aperture and 55mm, sharpness is excellent in the centre and falls just short of good levels towards the edges of the frame. Stopping down improves performance across the frame, with peak sharpness being achieved at f/8. Here clarity is outstanding in the centre and excellent towards the edges of the frame. Zooming at 200mm sharpness is excellent, with good clarity being produced in the centre of the frame and fair performance towards the edges. Stopping down to between f/8 and f/16 results in very good sharpness in the centre and good clarity towards the edges of the frame.

Same Day Delivery / For Customers in Nairobi Metropolitan Area
We use Courier for these orders, which allows fast and reliable delivery to destinations across their comprehensive domestic network. Orders placed between 7 Am and 5 Pm will be delivered the same day otherwise they will be delivered the following day. Delivery times vary depending on a product's stock status and the intended delivery address. For very large orders, we may be forced to use Mainfreight as these orders lie outside of what Courier Rider services can handle. If your order is being shipped with Mainfreight, this will be indicated in your fulfilment email along with a tracking number.
Overnight Delivery
Most In stock products are delivered overnight anywhere in Kenya – provided the order is placed before the advertised cut-off time. Our Overnight Delivery cut-off is usually 4:30pm Monday to Friday, however, this is updated daily and the expected shipping date will be shown for you on the product page. Larger products take an additional 1–2 days to be delivered.
Evening Express Delivery
Same Day Delivery is available to Nairobi & its suburbs. Same Day Delivery orders are delivered between 4pm and 7pm in the evening on the same day your order is dispatched.
If you are ordering on a business day and before the cutoff time, the option will be called “Same Day Delivery”. If you are ordering after the cutoff time or on a weekend or public holiday, the option will be called “Evening Express Delivery”. And May incur extra Costs other than the standard shipping fee.
