Speaking about the optics, on the rear, the new iPhone SE 2022 features a 12 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture allowing you to capture amazing videos and pictures. Camera features on the phone include Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and more. Moreover, on the front iPhone SE 5G supports a 7 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video chats.
Various connectivity options on the iPhone SE include 5G supported by the device (network not rolled-out in India), 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and more. Sensors on the Apple phone include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, barometer, gyro, Siri natural language commands and dictation, and more.
The handset’s display, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. The smartphone ships with a 4.7-inch, Retina HD screen that feels cramped, to say the least. It’s seemingly outclassed by the iPhone 12 / 13 Mini’s panels too, which maximise the screen’s real estate and offer slender bezels. What’s more, unlike Apple’s modernised Mini range, the SE 2022’s display is backed by LCD tech, meaning you’ll miss out on the vibrant hues offered by the 12 Mini / 13 Mini’s OLED screens. Now, to the company’s credit, the smartphone’s screen offers pleasant viewing angles. What’s more, the panel gets plenty bright at 625 nits as well, so outdoor usage should not be an issue for most buyers. And, the phone can even relay HDR content via OTT services like Netflix.
The lowdown
There’s no escaping the fact that the iPhone SE 2022 looks exactly like its predecessor, which in turn resembles the iPhone 8 launched quite some time ago. In essence, buyers opting for the iPhone SE 2022 will have to – in a very un-Apple-like fashion – explain that they are, in fact, using a new iPhone. Even if you can overlook the phone’s resemblance to its predecessors, it’s hard to turn a blind eye to the competition that includes stylish, upmarket Android phones and all-screen iPhones. Now, that’s not to say that the phone’s design is bad. In fact, the smartphone feels every bit as premium as my iPhone 13 (review).

Same Day Delivery / For Customers in Nairobi Metropolitan Area
We use Courier for these orders, which allows fast and reliable delivery to destinations across their comprehensive domestic network. Orders placed between 7 Am and 5 Pm will be delivered the same day otherwise they will be delivered the following day. Delivery times vary depending on a product's stock status and the intended delivery address. For very large orders, we may be forced to use Mainfreight as these orders lie outside of what Courier Rider services can handle. If your order is being shipped with Mainfreight, this will be indicated in your fulfilment email along with a tracking number.
Overnight Delivery
Most In stock products are delivered overnight anywhere in Kenya – provided the order is placed before the advertised cut-off time. Our Overnight Delivery cut-off is usually 4:30pm Monday to Friday, however, this is updated daily and the expected shipping date will be shown for you on the product page. Larger products take an additional 1–2 days to be delivered.
Evening Express Delivery
Same Day Delivery is available to Nairobi & its suburbs. Same Day Delivery orders are delivered between 4pm and 7pm in the evening on the same day your order is dispatched.
If you are ordering on a business day and before the cutoff time, the option will be called “Same Day Delivery”. If you are ordering after the cutoff time or on a weekend or public holiday, the option will be called “Evening Express Delivery”. And May incur extra Costs other than the standard shipping fee.
