Picture Quality
The DLP chipset and TriChroma laser in the Hisense 120L9G gives it impressive color performance, with a color gamut that exceeds the BT.2020 color space. All of those hues make for a vibrant, realistic image, especially considering the high dynamic contrast that produces rich black levels for better image depth and texture.
This image quality is further enhanced when you flip into Filmmaker Mode. This automatically adjusts the picture settings so you can see movies the way they were intended. Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology maintains that detail and accuracy even during fast action sequences, delivering a crisp, true 4K image no matter what’s happening on-screen.
Installation Ease
The short throw distance of the 120L9G means you only need about 15” of space between the screen and lens for a full 120” image. That’s great news for small spaces, and is convenient in any viewing area, sparing you the need for a ceiling mount or other installation complications. Its 3,000-lumen lamp is also bright enough for most indoor spaces without the need for light control measures.
There aren’t a ton of image adjustment options on the Hisense 120L9G. It does have 2D keystone correction, helpful if you can’t install the projector head-on to the screen, though it lacks the lens shift and zoom options you’ll find on most projectors. Having said that, however, adjusting the image is still easy for most given the short throw.
Another perk of the 120L9G from an installation standpoint is its high-quality speakers. It has dual 20-watt speakers backed by Dolby Atmos sound, providing a detailed and balanced soundscape with a full low end and crisp dialogue. For many, this means no need for an external sound system in your viewing area.
Included Screen
The 120L9G comes with a 120” ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen that pairs perfectly with the image put out by the projector. Along with optimizing the light across the image, the screen has a wide 150° viewing cone, ideal for viewing parties and oddly-shaped spaces, providing a consistently high image quality from any angle. This is a big value add for new projector owners, even aside from the convenience of getting everything in one box.
Smart Features and Streaming
The Hisense 120L9G comes ready for integration into a range of smart home setups. It has support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice control built in. Wireless connectivity means you can mirror content through Chromecast, or connect peripherals and content sources via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It also has the inputs for automation through Control4 or other networks.
You may find you don’t need external content sources with the 120L9G, either. Its Android TV interface is linked to the Google Play store for downloading streaming apps and other entertainment. The only major platform not natively supported is Netflix, but you can watch this content through one of the 3 HDMI ports or Chromecast mirroring.

Delivery Terms

Same Day Delivery / For Customers in Nairobi Metropolitan Area
We use Courier for these orders, which allows fast and reliable delivery to destinations across their comprehensive domestic network. Orders placed between 7 Am and 5 Pm will be delivered the same day otherwise they will be delivered the following day. Delivery times vary depending on a product's stock status and the intended delivery address. For very large orders, we may be forced to use Mainfreight as these orders lie outside of what Courier Rider services can handle. If your order is being shipped with Mainfreight, this will be indicated in your fulfilment email along with a tracking number.
Overnight Delivery
Most In stock products are delivered overnight anywhere in Kenya – provided the order is placed before the advertised cut-off time. Our Overnight Delivery cut-off is usually 4:30pm Monday to Friday, however, this is updated daily and the expected shipping date will be shown for you on the product page. Larger products take an additional 1–2 days to be delivered.
Evening Express Delivery
Same Day Delivery is available to Nairobi & its suburbs. Same Day Delivery orders are delivered between 4pm and 7pm in the evening on the same day your order is dispatched.
If you are ordering on a business day and before the cutoff time, the option will be called “Same Day Delivery”. If you are ordering after the cutoff time or on a weekend or public holiday, the option will be called “Evening Express Delivery”. And May incur extra Costs other than the standard shipping fee.
