The ThinkStation P310 Series Tower Workstation from Lenovo delivers strong performance within a tower form factor for mission-critical work such as finance, engineering, architecture, media, and science applications. The system is powered by a 3.5 GHz Intel Xeon E3-1240 v5 Quad-Core processor which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously and provides significant performance gains when running multi-threaded tasks. If you need more power, the CPU can deliver extra performance by increasing the clock speed up to 3.9 GHz utilizing Intel's Turbo Boost 2.0 technology.

The 8GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 non-ECC RAM has a 288-pin UDIMM form factor and allows the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously and also to quickly access frequently-used files and programs. The current memory configuration is one 8GB module with an additional three slots available for memory upgrades, making for a total of four memory slots, each of which is able to support up to 16GB, or 64GB total.

For long-term storage of your files, this ThinkStation P310 is equipped with a 1TB 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drive. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the P310 features six USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and one 9-pin serial port. For users who wish to add additional components to the drive bays, there are two internal 3.5" drive bays and two external 5.25" drive bays. The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro K620 graphics card delivers a sharp, clear picture, while also featuring one DisplayPort 1.2 output and one DVI-I Dual Link output. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated Realtek ALC662 audio controller outputs high definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers.

The ThinkStation P310 Series Tower Workstation is powered by a 250W power supply that is 85% efficient and includes a 104-key USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a power cord. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), a Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) license is included.
