Launch
This phone, the OnePlus 9 was released in 2021, March 24. This phone has a 160 x 73.9 x 8.1 mm dimension and weighs about 183 grams. It is also a Dual SIM smartphone that uses Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). On the front is a hole punch display wherein the selfie camera lies. Its back panel has a triple-camera module on the right-hand side. As for the fingerprint scanner, it is an optical, under-display scanner.
The OnePlus 9 comes in the color Winter Mist, Arctic Sky, and Astral Black. It makes use of the USB Type-C 3.1, USB On-The-Go, and has no 3.5 mm jack. The phone also has Bluetooth version 5.2, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot. Display
Now, let us take a look at the display this phone has to offer. Everyone loves a good display on a phone for obvious reasons. Namely, the display is the one part of a phone you will ever interact with. OnePlus 9 has an excellent Fluid AMOLED display panel that measures 6.55 inches, 103.6 cm2.
This display has a decent 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and an equally high 402 PPI density. As for the selfie camera, it is inside that hole punch on the top center. This phone’s build is glass with a Glass front (Gorilla Glass), glass back (Gorilla Glass), and an aluminum frame. OnePlus 9’s display is also graced with 120Hz, HDR10+, 1100 nits (peak), 87.6% screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Network
The OnePlus 9 smartphone supports five network technologies. These are GSM, HSPA, LTE, and 5G. HSPA extends and improves the performance of existing 3G mobile telecommunication networks using the WCDMA protocols. LTE is a standard for wireless broadband communication for mobile devices and data terminals, based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA technologies.

Platform
A phone platform is the hardware/software environment for tablets, smartphones, and other portable devices. OnePlus 9 runs on the Android 11 operating system. Android 11 is the eleventh major release and 18th version of Android, the mobile operating system developed by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google. Also powering this phone is an Octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 680 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 680 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 680) chipset. This version of Android it runs is based on OxygenOS 11.
Under the hood, it also brings an Adreno 660 GPU. The Qualcomm Adreno 660 is a smartphone and tablet GPU that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The chip will be available from early 2020 and will be used mainly in high-end Android devices. The OnePlus 9 comes with 128/256 GB of internal storage with 8/12 GB of RAM. There are four cameras on the OnePlus 9. They are made up of a main 48 MP, f/1.8, 23mm (wide), 1/1.43″, 1.12µm, omnidirectional PDAF, 50 MP, f/2.2, 14mm (ultrawide), 1/1.56″, 1.0µm, and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth). Its main feature is Hasselblad Color Calibration, dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama and it can shoot video up to 8K@30fps with the main camera, and 1080p@30fps, gyro-EIS with the selfie. Speaking of the selfie, on this phone, there is a single 16 MP, f/2.4, (wide) shooter.
Battery
OnePlus 9 has a respectable Li-Po 4500 mAh, non-removable battery with fast charging 65W, 1-100% in 29 min. It is a lasting battery given its 4500 mAh capacity. It also has fast wireless charging 15W (EU/NA only) which is USB Power Delivery – see also the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone.

Same Day Delivery / For Customers in Nairobi Metropolitan Area
We use Courier for these orders, which allows fast and reliable delivery to destinations across their comprehensive domestic network. Orders placed between 7 Am and 5 Pm will be delivered the same day otherwise they will be delivered the following day. Delivery times vary depending on a product's stock status and the intended delivery address. For very large orders, we may be forced to use Mainfreight as these orders lie outside of what Courier Rider services can handle. If your order is being shipped with Mainfreight, this will be indicated in your fulfilment email along with a tracking number.
Overnight Delivery
Most In stock products are delivered overnight anywhere in Kenya – provided the order is placed before the advertised cut-off time. Our Overnight Delivery cut-off is usually 4:30pm Monday to Friday, however, this is updated daily and the expected shipping date will be shown for you on the product page. Larger products take an additional 1–2 days to be delivered.
Evening Express Delivery
Same Day Delivery is available to Nairobi & its suburbs. Same Day Delivery orders are delivered between 4pm and 7pm in the evening on the same day your order is dispatched.
If you are ordering on a business day and before the cutoff time, the option will be called “Same Day Delivery”. If you are ordering after the cutoff time or on a weekend or public holiday, the option will be called “Evening Express Delivery”. And May incur extra Costs other than the standard shipping fee.
