The Oppo A17 features a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and has a water-drop notch and sizable bezels around the screen. Under the hood, the device has a MediaTek Helio G35 powering the device with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back made up of a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, we get a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera with fixed focus. The A17 draws power from a 5000mAh battery with a couple of features to extend battery life, including Super Power Saving Mode and Super Nighttime Standby. Other notable specs include Android 12 via ColorOS 12.1, IPX4 water resistance, and USB-C.
Design, Body Build, and Display
OPPO A17 measures 164.2 x 75.6 x 8.3 mm and weighs 189g. The device’s body is made of plastic at the back, a plastic body frame, and a glass front. The 6.56-inch IPS display of the Oppo handset has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~269 PPI density). It is an average resolution for both work and plays on your device.
Performance and Battery
The handset has a 5,000mAh removable Li-PO battery powering it. It supports up to a 4G network and is ideal for calls, texts, and playing games pre-installed on the device. Enjoy FM Radio on the device as you commute or work and connect to other devices via Bluetooth and WiFi.a 3.5mm jack will enable you to access your FM Radio and media entertainment on the Oppo A17 hands-free.
Installed on the device is a MediaTek MT6765 Helio G35 (12 nm). Running applications and commands in the background is a powerful Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. To ensure you do not run out of space and your device operates optimally, Oppo installed 64GB 4GB RAM internal memory on their A17 handset, using eMMC 5.1 technology to maximize space.
Camera
Oppo A17 invested in its cameras to give users an above-average camera setup experience. The front camera features a single, 5 MP, f/2.2, (wide) camera for selfies and video chats. It will certainly get the job done, considering it has the HDR feature and can take videos. At the back, capture moments and life experiences using a massive 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF + 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth) camera setup. The main camera can take 1080p@30fps video shots using LED flash, HDR, and panorama for professional-looking photos and videos.

Same Day Delivery / For Customers in Nairobi Metropolitan Area
We use Courier for these orders, which allows fast and reliable delivery to destinations across their comprehensive domestic network. Orders placed between 7 Am and 5 Pm will be delivered the same day otherwise they will be delivered the following day. Delivery times vary depending on a product's stock status and the intended delivery address. For very large orders, we may be forced to use Mainfreight as these orders lie outside of what Courier Rider services can handle. If your order is being shipped with Mainfreight, this will be indicated in your fulfilment email along with a tracking number.
Overnight Delivery
Most In stock products are delivered overnight anywhere in Kenya – provided the order is placed before the advertised cut-off time. Our Overnight Delivery cut-off is usually 4:30pm Monday to Friday, however, this is updated daily and the expected shipping date will be shown for you on the product page. Larger products take an additional 1–2 days to be delivered.
Evening Express Delivery
Same Day Delivery is available to Nairobi & its suburbs. Same Day Delivery orders are delivered between 4pm and 7pm in the evening on the same day your order is dispatched.
If you are ordering on a business day and before the cutoff time, the option will be called “Same Day Delivery”. If you are ordering after the cutoff time or on a weekend or public holiday, the option will be called “Evening Express Delivery”. And May incur extra Costs other than the standard shipping fee.
