Over 8 million self-illuminating pixels are individually controlled by the Picture Processor X1 Ultimate, and the Pixel Contrast Booster helps augment color and contrast in bright areas to help create lifelike shades and hues, more depth, fine texture, and the pure black contrast of OLED technology.

Acoustic Surface Audio

With Acoustic Surface Audio, sound comes to you directly from the entire screen, helping to create an immersive, multidimensional audio experience. The woofer integrated into the rear of the TV helps provide more dynamic, bass-heavy sound for action movies and music.

Voice Control with the Google Assistant

The A8H series has the Google Assistant built-in, enabling you to search for your favorite movies, get answers on the screen, control the TV and your compatible smart home devices, all with your voice. Press the Google Assistant button on the remote control to ask for sports scores and the weather or access many of the apps and services you already use. You can also cast your favorite apps with Chromecast built-in or enjoy a range of apps from the Google Play store, including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Spotify, and more.

Nearly any content can be upconverted to near-4K UHD resolution with the 4K X-Reality PRO and Object-Based Super Resolution features. They help the picture processor analyze and processes data to enrich detail, textures, and clarity in images using intelligent dual-database processing.

TRILUMINOS Display technology is engineered to widen the color spectrum, allowing the TV to reproduce more colors. It analyzes and processes data to help provide more precise details and colors.

X-Motion Clarity Technology

X-Motion Clarity technology helps fast action stay smooth and clear. Moving images are precisely controlled to minimize blur so that pictures remain true with less loss in brightness during high-speed scenes.

Ambient Optimization Technology

This technology is designed to automatically adjust picture and sound settings to your environment. An embedded light sensor helps optimize picture brightness to your room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it in dark rooms. For enhanced sound, Acoustic Auto Calibration analyzes the room’s environment and optimizes sound for your room.

Smart Home Connectivity

With Google Home and Amazon Alexa compatibility, you can control the TV with just your voice. Ask it to cast and control videos from YouTube via Google Home or change the channel or volume with Amazon Alexa. Via a future firmware update, Apple HomeKit and AirPlay 2 support integrate your iPhone and Siri devices with the TV for smart home management and content streaming.

HDR (high dynamic range) combines with 4K UHD content for enhanced detail, color, and contrast with a wide range of brightness. Dolby Vision HDR compatibility brings compatible content to life with augmented highlights, deeper darks, and vibrant colors. IMAX Enhanced content is digitally remastered to provide the image sharpness and more audio power that the creator intended, and Netflix Calibrated Mode was developed so you can enjoy Netflix original content the way its creators intended. The dedicated Netflix button on the remote control lets you start streaming with just one press.

One-Slate Design

With the slim one-slate design, the screen meets the edge of the TV, helping it blend into nearly any room environment. The flush surface with narrow aluminum bezel helps keep you focused on the picture, not the TV. Cable holders keep wires neatly hidden, helping the TV stay virtually free of clutter. The tabletop stand can be adjusted to raise the TV to fit a soundbar.

Optional Slim Wall Mount

The separately sold SU-WL855 wall mount is designed to hold the A8H like a work of art. Pull the TV out and swivel it left or right to adjust the screen angle for optimal viewing.

CalMAN Ready

To address color variations from the production process, this TV is compatible with CalMAN auto-calibration software. This provides additional levels of calibration and the ability to fine-tune adjustments not possible through conventional picture settings. It’s designed to deliver high-fidelity color reproduction that’s true to the original TV signal and can adapt to subtle changes in color that may occur over time.
